Abigail Brown is a talented designer and friend of mine, who creates the most exquisite fabric birds and textile art. Each piece is made entirely by hand and utterly unique, so no two pieces will ever be the same. This little saffron crowned tanager is just one of many birds made by Abigail. At 11cm tall he is created from both new and reused materials, carefully selected to replicate the colours and markings of the bird. He truly is a beautiful collectable piece to delight any home or display space, or in my case recipe book! You may recognise him from the photo of my Salty and Tweet Nest in my book Quinntessential Baking.
