My Almond Owl Biscuits are made from a shortbread biscuit dough that I flavoured using both ground almonds,almond extract and almond butter. Whole almonds make up the eyebrows and beak, while a mixture of toasted and un-toasted flaked almonds create the feathers fixed down with melted almond chocolate. Finally the wide and starry eyes are created using galaxy minstrels, marzipan and chocolate chips.
