My Baker’s Matches were ignited by a certain breadstick looking signature challenge and inspired by the fact I have a sweet tooth and nostalgic affection for chocolate matchsticks and mikado’s sticks. To play on the idea of heat and fire provided when matches are lit, I incorporated the flavours of chilli and ginger into the bake and literally topped the whole thing off with a chilli chocolate match head. Matches are also usually sold in quantity so the fact I was to be rolling out and baking 36 seemed fitting!
