Banoffee Pie


My Banoffee Pie has a ginger biscuit crumb as opposed to pastry base, which I’ve added chocolate chips to, thus giving the slices more texture and bite. The chocolate flavor is also enhanced by the cocoa powder I dust over the bananas in between the toffee sauce and cream. Finally I’ve topped the whipped vanilla cream with a coating of toffee dust and rubble! Highlighting both the ‘toffee’ ingredient in the banoffee and injecting extra texture into the top as well as bottom of the slice.
