Banoffee Trifle

My Banoffee Trifle encapsulates all the flavours of the much loved dessert in a jar. The base is made up of some banana cake soaked in rum, with layers of sliced up bananas on top. My banana caramel sauce and vanilla custard fills the middle section of the jar with a loving dollop of cream embracing the rim. Banana chips and toffees, both whole and broken up into pieces add a textural crunch to the top and make the whole trifle even more moorish.
