My Beetroot Heart Cupcakes are bite sized, chocolatey and wholesomely chic! The beetroot within the mixture gives the cake a red hue, much like you’d find within a red velvet cupcake. However these have the added bonus of the colouring being natural as opposed to artificial. The candied beetroot hearts used to decorate the cakes, highlight both the unexpected ingredient as well as looking not unlike dried rose petals!
