Following on the apple theme, I thought I’d highlight another of my treasured cookbooks called Apples for Jam. Organised by colour, Tessa Kiros recipes, writing and infectious appetite for food and life come alive on the pages and plate. Although no recipe for actual apple jam there is an amazing one for Apple bread with sugar and cinnamon topping! The pumpkin pizza is also a must make and bake, especially with halloween just over a week away. You really don’t need any more encouragement to bake with this book your shelf and worktop.
