My Cheese and Cake Wedding Tower was created for my friends Hannah and Sam’s wedding. Ten tiers of the couples favourite cakes and cheeses were layered up together on a cake stand in the form of a tree trunk. Fruit cake through to rounds of stilton, brie and ginger cake made up just some of the stack. Coeur Neufchatel (heart shaped bries), personalized ginger biscuits, strawberries, flowers and chocolate orange segments decorated and finished off the structure. The latter being Hannah’s favourite chocolate, also resulting in the central cake being made up of a dense chocolate orange cake with chocolate orange fudge filling. The marriage of cake and cheese within the creation meant everyone’s sweet or savory tooth was satisfied as the tiers were sliced and served up.
