In anticipation of Coldplay’s new single ‘Every Teardrop is a Waterfall’ which is aired on the radio today and available for download tomorrow, I thought I’d look back at their very first breakthrough single. ‘Yellow’ was released almost 11 years ago, on the 26th June 2000. I can still remember hearing it on the radio for the first time in the A-Level Art studio while putting up my final collection. Ironically like the video it was based around a desolate beach scene, so featured a lot more blue than yellow!
