Beauty In the Making was a series of talks curated by It’s Nice That in collaboration with GF Smith. Both are independent British Companies that champion creativity and inspire as a result and last weeks talks held at Victoria House Basement in Holburn were the perfect example of this. I was lucky enough to attend the last lunchtime talk of the series, which was entitled ‘The Senses’. Here Secret Cinema‘s Fabien Riggall and Sam Bompass of Bompass and Parr had the opportunity to discuss how their films and food capture and excite the senses. A feature of films, insight, innovation and consumption of gin jelly followed, which for a Friday lunchtime was the most inspiring meal deal I’ve experienced!
