My First Aid Apple Cheesecake might not necessarily keep the doctor away but it does contain more than one apple. Created to celebrate the Market Harborough Pharmacys first birthday, the cheesecake was inspired by both the apple a day phrase and previous Blue-berry Nude Cheesecake I’d made. Using the same technique of cutting up fruit to create a mosaic pattern, I was able to produce an apple green first aid cross. My Almond Biscuit Plasters accompanied the cheesecake, which was flavoured with lemon with a ginger biscuit base. Together with the apple, the lemon and ginger combination helped result in a cheesecake that packed both a first class punch of flavour and first aid looking design on top. Repeat prescriptions and servings necessary.
