To celebrate my good friend Hannah’s birthday I created a Giant Jam Sandwich cake. Hannah’s favourite cake is normally a Victoria Sponge, so decided to give the traditional cake a twist by turning it into the shape of a giant sandwich! The sponge itself was still filled with cream and jam and could be enjoyed as either an open or shut cakewich as the photo’s of it show. The birthday girl certainly had her fill of both Tea and Cake and Bread and Jam!
