On the topic of books I thought I’d show you my Token Topic creation. Made up of a base of crushed hazelnut biscuits, grated nougat and chopped hazelnuts I bound the whole lot together with my chocolate caramel glue. Once set I spread over a layer of Nutella to double up as both an adhesive and inject yet more hazelnut flavour. Copious slices of Topic bars were then stuck and arranged over the top like books assembled on a shelf. Finally I cut the base and bars into bite sized tokens ready to be reedemed as a valuable teatime treat.
