My Pumpkin Cakes are individual sized chocolate loaf cakes, containing ground toasted pumpkin seeds where I’d normally add ground almonds for moistness and flavour. Ground almonds can instead be found within my homemade marzipan which I’ve coloured with a natural pumpkin powder and added orange zest and juice too. Rolled and carved into pumpkins the finished results are topped off with pumpkin seed stalks. The seeds also act as blades of grass peaking through the soil of chocolate and cinnamon fudge sauce with a top soil of chocolate cake crumbs. Grab a fork and dig in.
