My Red Rum Horseshoe cake was made as a wedding anniversary gift for a horse racing loving couple. Based around the theme of the racehorse champion Red Rum, I created a red velvet sponge covered in a chocolate and rum frosting. Gold glitter dusted toffee made up the decorative metal nails and I couldn’t resist creating an edible rosette rewarded with a heart of gold to sit alongside the cake itself. All in all a grand day for a horse racing cake!
