Following on from my Bonfire Cake which I created last bonfire night I ‘ve made some individual Bonfire Cupcakes to mark this years festivities. The cupcakes themselves are a bonfire cake mix, otherwise known as parkin or sticky gingerbread. The bonfire itself has a marshmallow nestled underneath the chocolate biscuit sticks, as marshmallows are great toasted over a fire! The sugar flames add a toffee flavour to the cake, while giving the bonfire a fiery finish.
