Books I like…

kinfolk 2The Kinfolk Table is Kinfolks very first cookbook. Ever since Kinfolk launched their independently owned quarterly magazine in 2010 I have been both following and admiring not just their design and aesthetic but each editions content and ethos. I don’t ever need an excuse to step inside an Anthropologie store, but it is here where the magazines and now book are stocked. Both publications share a sensibility for a simpler way of living, captured beautifully within the stunning photography. From collecting ideas to a collection of recipes, the book is filled with 85 of them. Contributed by chefs, home cooks, designers, bloggers and photographers spread across the globe, the book pays tribute to each creative types recipe choice and the stories behind it. Published by Artisan books this book is in itself a celebration of such art and with extra added treats. Not least recipes for both sweet potato biscuits and butterscotch pudding.
