My Dough Pebbles are like nautical dough balls, created through me rolling the remnants of my Sailors Knot white and wholemeal dough into the shapes of pebbles. To enhance the various colours and textures naturally found within pebbles I brushed some of the dough with egg white and water, resulting in their delicate sheen once baked. The others I left plain which added to an assorted appearance of both bread and shingle. Served warm with my oyster pearl butter, they were blissfully wise and wonderful.
