I have always followed Dan’s recipes and expertise written in his column for the Guardian and have been eagerly anticipating this latest publication. Aimed solely at the home baker, the master baker provides over 280 recipes spread over 576 pages to inspire and inform. He does both so well and within all 8 chapters ranging from bread to biscuits, Dan’s passion for baking and his desire for the reader to succeed is very much to the point just like the title’s definition.
